You can create any number of hypothetical or pro forma portfolios to analyze different configurations or evaluate a set of investments. Hypothetical portfolios are created in the following ways:
Click the “CREATE A NEW PORTFOLIO” quick link on the left pane of Venn to create a portfolio. You can use an existing portfolio as a template or create a portfolio from scratch.
Create from a single investment - In the Investment Library section, you can select a particular investment to navigate to its tearsheet. To add it to a portfolio, click on the "OPTIMIZE IN A PORTFOLIO" button on the top right of the page. Select an existing portfolio, and you can choose which asset class/strategy in that portfolio to place the selected investment.
Create from multiple uploaded investments - In the Investment Library section, select the Upload filter. Click the empty boxes next to the investments you’d like to add to a portfolio. Then select the following icon located above the search results to add to a portfolio. You can use an existing portfolio as a template or create a portfolio from scratch.
